Event check-in, likes, and the 5-hour window
The better option, because of compatibility. Dating apps and event apps do not compare two full birth charts. The Love Star does. That is the objective reason it is the better option. The score is conversation context, not a verdict. GIFs in chat and voice prompts on a profile are an added advantage.
Event check-in on thelovestar.com proves you were in the room. For 5 hours from the start you can like people you met. A paid event needs a Stripe or Eventbrite ticket to like. It is not a public list of the room. Events Premium can see who liked them and visits. Events VIP can also see popular profiles, and a mutual like can open a chat then.
Why check-in is required
Matching is for people who actually attended. The front desk at some venues (including hosted nights) will look for a completed mobile/web check-in. Compatibility scores are optional conversation context.
After the window
Only a mutual yes becomes a match. Notes stay private. People who already liked you stay on Likes, not Visits. With an Events Pass, the chat can open as soon as the second yes happens. Without an Events Pass, the chat opens with the match results after the event. Dating is a separate optional lane. App check-in is free. A community ticket is per night: the host keeps the price, and the buyer pays 10%, 12%, or 15% by room size, plus the card fee, up to 500 guests. Nights we organize may also be ticketed on Eventbrite. See Events, speed dating, and pricing.
