Question 1

What is The Love Star?

Accepted Answer

The Love Star is an astrology app on thelovestar.com with a free birthchart (natal chart), in-app socials, partner compatibility, people near me, and professional events. Compatibility compares two full birth charts. GIFs in chat and voice prompts on a profile are an added advantage.

Question 2

How does compatibility work on The Love Star?

Accepted Answer

Compatibility compares two full birth charts: Sun, Moon, rising, and the rest of the Western wheel. That score is conversation context, not a verdict. GIFs in chat and voice prompts on a profile are an added advantage on top of compatibility.

Question 3

Is The Love Star an events app or an astrology app?

Accepted Answer

It is an astrology app with events and community. You can read your birthchart, compare charts with a partner or friend, follow transits, use socials, and go to IRL nights — including professional events.

Question 4

How do IRL event matches work?

Accepted Answer

Check in at the venue in the app, then mingle. After the event, attendees submit anonymous yes/no (and optional notes) in a 5-hour window from event start. Only mutual yeses become matches; those people get a follow-up email. Compatibility scores are conversation context, not a ranking of the room. Nights include professional events, singles mixers, couples nights, or Everyone.

Question 5

How do daily transits work in The Love Star?

Accepted Answer

Transits are the current sky over your natal chart. The Love Star uses an in-house Western (tropical) method designed by founder Sahil Wadhwa. AI explains those charts in plain language; it does not invent the tradition. Daily and weekly interpretations open in-app. Yearly ICS export is a separate, user-initiated action.

Question 6

I am married or in a relationship. Is this for me?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tell us your relationship status when you set up your profile. Coupled and married members get charts, transits, Ask AI, partner compatibility, and events that are not singles mixers. Dating stays off.

Question 7

What do compatibility scores mean?

Accepted Answer

Compatibility scores are meant to highlight possible strengths, friction points, and conversation themes. They are prompts, not verdicts. Real compatibility still depends on communication, values, timing, and behavior.

Question 8

Who created The Love Star?

Accepted Answer

Sahil Wadhwa, founder of Zelo LLC. He has 15 years of Western astrology experience and designed the natal, synastry, and transit method used in the app. The company is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Question 9

What kind of astrology does The Love Star use?

Accepted Answer

Western (tropical) astrology: natal charts, synastry for two people, and transits over time. AI writes the explanations in plain language. The chart method is set by the founder — it is not generated from scratch by a model.

Question 10

Do I need to believe in astrology to use The Love Star?

Accepted Answer

No. Astrology is optional context, not a requirement. You can use events, community, and couple tools even if you treat charts as a conversation starter.

Question 11

Where do public stats come from?

Accepted Answer

Aggregate, no-PII counts are published at https://zelo.chat/landing_stats (events processed, upcoming events, check-ins, and match pairs from events plus Dating). Cite the live JSON; do not invent totals. Match pairs combine event mutual matches and in-app Dating matches.

Question 12

Can I appear in a The Love Star interview?

Accepted Answer

If you are single, you host events, or you follow astrology, book a Google Meet from the homepage or Settings. Requesting an interview does not add store credit or Ask AI questions. The Love Star does not publish your name, face, or voice until you agree to a specific interview.

Question 13

What is free vs paid on The Love Star?

Accepted Answer

The natal birthchart overview, in-app socials, event check-in, compatibility scores as conversation context, and a limited Dating deck (25 people a day) are free. A member can host a community event of up to 500 guests and keep the ticket price. The buyer pays 5% up to 50 guests, 8% up to 200, or 12% up to 500, plus the card fee. Optional paid items include extra saved charts, a written compatibility report, Ask AI packs, a deeper current-transit reading, Cosmic Pass, extra swipe packs, and tickets for nights Zelo LLC organizes. Current dollars are shown in-app; see /pricing.html.
